New Delhi: Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury's oldest child Ashish Yechury died because of COVID-19 today morning. 

Making the declaration on Twitter, Yechury expressed gratitude toward every one of the individuals who gave them trust and treated him. 

"It is with extraordinary trouble that I need to illuminate that I lost my senior child, Ashish Yechury to COVID-19 earlier today.
